I'm so excited to launch Folli Oil - a 100% natural skin care range developed to tackle the unpleasant after-effects of hair removal.
I suffer from very sensitive, reactive skin. Whether I wax, shave or use an epilator, my skin reacts with an almost permanent rash of raised, unsightly bumps that lead to itchy, inflamed ingrown hairs.
For a few years, I lived in the Caribbean, where the pressure to bare hair-free skin was far greater than in the UK. This caused a great stress and embarrassment because my skin was so unhappy after hair removal. Laser hair removal was not possible because my hair is too fair (and I couldn't afford it) so I suffered for years without really finding a solution.
I'm a qualified Beauty and Skincare Therapist. Over the years I've tried many different products but found they were either ineffective or too harsh for my sensitive skin. When my teenage daughter began experiencing the same reaction after waxing, I set about developing a solution as I did not want her to suffer as I had.
